Five finger death punch albums sold12/7/2022 That and there's something for every FFDP fan. As with the most recent FFDP albums, the live performance is a musical journey and each one is better than the next. With the amount of people we have and the intensity, it's been incredible every single day out here."Īnd that's the kind of concert Kael said to expect locally. The fans sing along with every single word and it's been some of the loudest places we've ever played. We're out for six weeks right now finishing up in Colorado and rolling through Lubbock in just a little bit. "This tour has been huge with us, Volbeat, Hellyeah and Nothing More. "This is really the first time that Five Finger Death Punch has done a full headlining tour," he said. As for the tour, Kael said it's like no other for the band. The band is currently out on the road touring with Nothing More, Hellyeah and Volbeat with a scheduled concert at 6:10 p.m. "Two full albums at one time is a lot, so we broke it up for the listening experience." "The fans really have an opportunity to digest each track and really learn every aspect of every song like when I was growing up," said Kael. A double album released at the same time would be too much and not as enjoyable. The reason it was decided to cut the albums into two volumes, Kael said, was because it makes it easier for FFDP fans to learn the songs note for note and to enjoy them individually. One suggestion was to cut a double album, but all involved finally decided to record two volumes of "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell" with both being released last year. Each song was such quality, nobody was willing to take an ax to any of them. That's when the band challenged the label to cull out some of the songs. Kael said members of the band went to their music label, Prospect Park, with the idea of doing a double album, but the label wasn't interested. We didn't want to lose any of them because we were extremely happy with the way things were turning out." We got to a point where we were asking ourselves which songs we should cut out of the album and we pretty much all agreed we didn't want to lose any of them. "The creative juices were already flowing, so when we got into the studio, we just kept writing. "We had a ton of songs because we really started writing early in the process and had a wealth of material going into the studio," FFDP bassist Chris Kael said. Last year when it came time to decide a cutoff point as far as what songs would go on the album and what songs would be shelved, mega metal machine Five Finger Death Punch didn't know where to stop.
